Memorial Day Parade 2008

Remembering our Heros on this day, and the ones who are protecting us. Also remember the public servants who have died in the line of duty. Thank you.

Our Memorial Day Parade kicked off at 0930, starting at the Army-Navy club proceeding to Munro Park, and then to Center Park. A wreath laying was at the Vietnam Memorial, and the Memorials on Center Street, and a final speech at Center Park.

Thanks to John Robotto, Gene Bacon, Bob Russell, Art Thompson, William Lynn, Chet Chetelat, Bill Pomeroy, Chris Kunz & Joe Hachey for their participation in the color guard and rifle squad.

VFW2046.com Redesign

Welcome and thanks for stopping by, our Post website has had a major makeover. We hope you enjoy the new setup and watch for little surprises that may pop up on you over some of the graphics **nothing harmful, for example run your mouse over the picture of the Spanish American War memorial, also test the names on the Vietnam history page.** The website will be updated as things happen. The calendar is changed for events as they are scheduled, the VFW/Military news is updated every 2 days. So please enjoy the site and hopefully we will see you soon.
